Agenda

Key items for 2021
  • Resolution: Neighborhood-wide Trash collection as part of dues.

  • 2 open Board Member seats for election

    • Tim Koehler, incumbant Board member

    • Helen Kamin, running for open Board seat

      • My name is Helen Kamin. Although I'm a recent homeowner in Filing 3, my father lived here for many years and I'm familiar with the community and its residents. I have a background in law, having been a paralegal for many years, both in private firms and a school district, and therefore understand compromise and collaboration. In my practice at a real estate firm, I worked on many CC&Rs, both developing them and interpreting them. I've been a volunteer in many community projects and organizations, and would like to continue to do so for Filing 3. I believe good communication is essential for the smooth operation, and confidence in, an organization. I'd like to serve on the Board to give back to my community, protect property values, and maintain the quality of life in Filing 3.

Voting via Proxy

A Homeowners' Association Proxy allows someone else to vote for you in the event you can't make a homeowners' meeting. Assigning a proxy helps you maintain your interests and also helps the meeting itself move forward without worry over an absent member. When you can't be there, a Homeowners' Association Proxy helps get your voice heard.

Use the Homeowners' Association Proxy document if:

  • You want to vote at a homeowners' meeting,
    but can't be there.

  • You need to tell your proxy how to vote.

  • You'd like to ensure the meeting makes quorum.

Results (10/31/2021)

Neighbors,

The results are in!

Congratulations to Tim K and Helen K for securing the Board seats. Helen will begin to be engaged to get her acquainted with the other Board members, items in process, and training.

The neighborhood-wide trash collection did not pass, mainly due to not having enough total votes. This means you will need to continue your own trash collection and your dues will not increase.
